Brandy Babcock is an unprofessional real estate appraiser my bank contacted recently to do appraisals on a couple of properties I own in Springfield Missouri. I suggest you do not use her at all considering her ethic and in my opinion sub standard skills.
Brandy Babcock of BB Appraisals LLC contacted me by phone in December 2021 to set an appointment to come see my properties; Brandy set an appointment for 8:30 am with me and I accepted without a problem.
Brandy showed up about 15 min late and then proceeded to mess around in her car while I waited for an additional 10-15 min, we are now at 8:55 ish.
Upon her finally strolling up to my home not saying a word about being late, I made the mistake to let her know she was late and I had other appointments; she immediately discredited me and my opinion on her lateness and told me I was wrong, she was extremely condescending; I should of told her to leave at that point but I thought I would try and make the best of it.
I showed her my 2 properties and we seemed to get along better but after my bank got the appraisals back she had used comparable and adjustments to devalue my properties.
Brandy Babcock used in my professional and trained opinion poor comparisons and made adjustments in such a manner I feel to bring my property values down in a hateful vengeful manner, and she was successful.
She charged an absolute premium for her poor service and when I protested to my bank about her result, my bank said they tried to reach out to her without return calls or success; She would not make any changes in spite of using comps that did not compliment my properties.
Brandy Babcock is a poor representation of professionalism, I would never use BB Appraisals in Springfield Missouri.
